Harry Steele didn't just grow up around electrical work — he was raised in it. From watching his grandfather, Harry Kenneth Steele Jr., wire homes as one of North Carolina's first licensed electricians, to learning the trade alongside his father Thomas, Harry absorbed the values that have defined Stelco Electric for over six decades: honesty, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to doing the job right.
After graduating from NC State University, Harry officially joined the family business and became a partner in 2011. By 2017, he had obtained his unlimited electrical licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina, cementing his expertise and expanding Stelco's reach across the Carolinas.
Today, as CEO, Harry leads a dedicated team of electricians who share his passion for quality workmanship and customer service. Under his leadership, Stelco Electric has grown to serve both commercial and residential clients throughout North and South Carolina, tackling projects of every size while maintaining the personal touch that has defined the company since 1959.
But Harry's vision extends beyond business success. As a proud NC State Wolfpack alumnus, he founded the P.A.C.K. initiative — a community outreach program that supports underserved children, medical assistance programs, and adolescent-driven nonprofits across the Carolinas. For Harry, giving back isn't separate from the business — it's at the heart of everything Stelco does.
