Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple complex commercial and industrial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll serve as a strategic leader — ensuring alignment across operations, field teams, and clients while maintaining Stelco's standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget

Position Summary

The Estimator is responsible for preparing bids and estimates in the pursuit of commercial construction projects. This involves reading electrical construction documents, preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing components and packages of equipment, estimating labor requirements, and accounting for project overhead costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimating — Thoroughly review and accurately take off quantities of materials from construction documents. Solicit bids from vendors, compile quotes with labor costs and markups, and review with management before submittal.
  • Organization — Manage all aspects of the competitive bid process from reviewing invitations, prioritizing opportunities, preparing and tracking bids, and following up with general contractors.
  • Communication — Prepare complete hand-off meeting agendas, anticipate common questions, and lead pending project review meetings.
  • Professional Relationships — Develop and maintain a network of relationships with client preconstruction teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

Position Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced with estimating software — Accubid Anywhere preferred

Education & Experience
